Emma Leonardi, Director of Instruction at Lago Mar Country Club. Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division has been teaching for nine years. She played college golf at Florida State University where she earned a BS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Emma played professionally for 5 years where she competed on the Women's Professional Eoropean Tour, The Gold Coast Tour and The Futures Tour. During that time played in some notable tournaments such as The Women's British Open, the Women's U.S. Open and The Evian Masters.
After training under the Jim McLean Golf School, she returned to Lago Mar Country Club as the Head Golf Professional. After serving for three years at this position she became the Director of Instruction to focus primarily on instruction. She intructs all ages and abilities through every aspect of the game including on-the-range video analysis with a portable system.
Programs at Lago Mar include weekly summer camps that run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for ages 6 to 16. Ladies beginner and intermediate group lessons are also available in addition to the private lesson programs.
